    • hi @arezzo13 , thanks for your input. I am trying to move to angular 2, but for the moment, I will wait until a final version.   regards
    • Hi guys !   It's been a while since I start working with Angular 2, and i always have problems handling http requests and respones, but after a lot of research, i came up with this tutorial which covers this topic really well. It also explains how to use basic authentication in a Angular 2 app, wich is great too!!!   In Angular 1.x we can transform requests globally in the application's config. .config(function($httpProvider) { $httpProvider.defaults.transformRequest = function(data) { return JSON.stringify({name: "Ryan"}); } }); Whereas in Angular 2, we would extend the BaseRequestOptions. class MyOptions extends BaseRequestOptions { body: string = JSON.stringify({name: "Ryan"}); } bootstrap(App, [HTTP_PROVIDERS, provide(RequestOptions, {useClass:MyOptions})]); web> Angular 2.0 tutorial   I hope you enjoy !!!
    • hi welcome, I never used ionic before, but I saw that ionic is based in angular, maybe I wonder if you must use angular 2, actually is RC 4, so maybe it is not good idea to use angular 2 in a production evironment. regards
    • I am looking for the best reason to build native apps using ionic and angular 2 platforms...
    • It is not a good idea to test a private method, because it is a method used by a public method, but, if we need to test it, we can do it with reflection. this is method we are going to test in JpaService class. public class JpaService(){ private BigDecimal roundDecimals(BigDecimal roundingValue) { if (roundingValue != null) { roundingValue = roundingValue.setScale(0, BigDecimal.ROUND_DOWN); } return roundingValue; } } Now we can a test calling our method through reflection- @Test public void testRoundingDecimals() final JpaService service = new JpaService(); final Method privateMethod = JpaService.class.getDeclaredMethod("roundDecimals", BigDecimal.class); privateMethod.setAccessible(true); BigDecimal rounde = (BigDecimal) privateMethod.invoke(service, new BigDecimal(-0.00000000)); assertEquals(new BigDecimal(0), rounde); }
